4th July may be an ordinary date for others in calendar but it is the most important day for the people of America. It is the day of freedom and liberty, it is the Independence Day.
4thJuly has importance in the USA history as it is the day when in 1776 the declaration of Independence was adopted by Continental Congress. People celebrate this day to pay tribute to those who took part in this revolution and to show their patriotism.
They celebrate federal holiday and enjoy with their loved ones at this day. Many activities are held nationwide. There is a wonderful show of fireworks at night. As this special day comes in summer, people prefer to go on beach and have parties and get together with their families. They arrange family reunions, concerts and picnics.
